This was my entry for the 2013 Austin Art Boards competition – I was chosen as one of 10 artists to have their piece displayed on a billboard for one year around the Austin area!
My inspiration for this piece actually came several years ago when I first went to see the Congress Bridge Bats – I took more pictures of the people standing on the bridge than I did of the bats flying out. I loved looking at everyone’s postures and positions and imagining what each person’s stories were. That’s why I ended up naming the piece “Points of View.”
